Amenities
Elevation is far more than two conventional apartment buildings. Onepoto and Onewa are enriched buildings, designed to be lived in and enjoyed as much as your apartment.
In Onepoto, you’ll find a place to grab a coffee and meet up with friends, a shared workspace that’s ideal for people who work from home, and community spaces like the roof terraces with gardens, terrific for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine in hand, and the ground level garden where the little ones can play.
There’s even a new children’s playground adjacent to the property. Also, Lindisfarne Reserve is a directly accessible pocket park, ideal for kids who want to kick a ball or throw a frisbee.
In Onewa, as well as the community spaces, roof terraces and open green areas, there’s also provision for a convenience store or similar retail enterprise, which would serve the local community as well as residents of Elevation.
It’s all about bringing the things you love to do closer, by making them part of where you live.
Elevated terraces
Each building will be crowned with two roof terraces, one on level four and the other on level five. Each will offer furniture and tables suitable for meeting in groups large or small. Bring a meal from your apartment or cook on the electric barbecue that will be provided along with a benchtop containing a fully plumbed sink.
Throughout the day, you’ll be able to lounge in the sun or retreat to the shade, sheltered from the prevailing wind. Groups can gather, or if you want a little more privacy there’s plenty of room for sitting at a distance.
From both terraces, you’ll enjoy spectacular views towards the city or to Takapuna and the Hauraki Gulf. In the evenings, the lights of the CBD and Takapuna will be quite a show, while spectacular sunrises can be enjoyed with a cup of coffee in hand, bought from the café downstairs.
Community rooms
Both buildings will feature large multi-purpose lounges that lead out onto sunny terraces. These are reserved for residents, although accompanied guests will be welcome.
Besides stylish lounge furniture for sitting and relaxing, the lounge libraries will also have long tables suitable for working on a laptop as well as a well-equipped kitchenette.
Movie nights, games nights, interest group get-togethers, and family reunions will be just a few of the uses, and the space can be reserved for private functions. In Onepoto the café will be next door, giving you a possible catering option.
A great place to watch a game on the big screen, enjoy a quiet read, or meet up for a quick chat, the lounge will add a lot more to life at Elevation.
Elevation café
Sit inside or outside at Elevation’s bright, modern café. With delicious food and drinks available throughout the day, meet up with new friends living in the complex or old friends from outside. Another great feature will be the ability for you to walk through to the private garden outside where young children can play safely while you enjoy more adult company.
Located in Onepoto, the café will be a real hub for residents at Elevation. Also, it’ll be a great break-out space when you are working from home and could use some company and a change of pace.
Convenience store
On the ground floor of Onewa, there is provision for a convenience store or similar retail operation. Initial leasing discussions are underway, with the intention to find yet another way to make residents’ lives easier.
A convenience store would have considerable appeal for everyday essentials when you don’t feel like going out to the supermarket. The store would canvas residents to find out what they wanted, included services, and create a store that really works for everyone.
The Greenway
Northcote’s new greenway, Te Ara Awataha, starts at Lake Road, with a fabulous, tree-filled greenspace between Elevation’s two buildings. Connecting Elevation to Northcote Central via a network of parks, shared cycleways, and walking paths, the greenway follows the path of the former Awataha Stream, which is being restored and daylighted for everyone to enjoy. Hundreds of new trees will be planted, creating a healthy, natural environment for Elevation residents cycling or strolling up to Northcote Central.
The name of the new greenway refers to the historic Awataha Stream that used to run through Northcote but was buried and forgotten for years. Restoring the stream so that it can be seen and heard has become a key part of creating a pleasing, walkable way of getting around the entire Northcote area.

Entrance lobby
Unlike many apartment buildings their size, Onepoto and Onewa will have ample lobbies with generous seating. With their natural timbers and soft furnishings, the lobbies will be warm and welcoming for residents coming home and visitors alike. People in wheelchairs or with limited mobility will be able to move about easily.
Waiting for a car to pick you up on a rainy night will be no issue in comfortable surroundings like these. The same goes for a quick meeting with a visitor when there isn’t time to go up to your apartment.
Set back from the street, both lobbies have good visibility of what is happening outside, while providing extra security, thanks to the dual security doors. Letterboxes are located in the lobby rather than outside, a further security measure.
Secure garaging
One of the great features at Elevation will be secure underground car parking, where residents will also find bike racks and storage lockers for bulky items. Located on a single level, entry will be by swipe card. Car parks will be single or tandem. There may be the opportunity to purchase more than one car park.
Secure, underground parking is a real bonus when the weather is wet, you have a lot of shopping or oversize items to take upstairs, or late at night when safety is all-important. Elevation is the only apartment complex in the area currently with this valuable feature.
And no need to take rubbish bins out onto the street or retrieve them the next day. Stay warm and dry by dropping your rubbish in the dedicated rubbish areas in the parking levels, where it will be collected multiple times per week.
